Practicing at the Culinary Institute

So for our final class we had some time to decorate a little cake of our own.
This one is chocolate with lemon curd & ganache filling, and a touch of chocolate meringue buttercream. And since we made so many flowers for practice, I had to cover this wee little cake with all of them!

Hannah Montana Guitar Cake

While I've never created a "cupcake cake" I enjoy a challenge!
So when Andrea ordered a guitar cupcake-cake, Hannah Montana themed, I was excited to give it a try!
The cupcakes are vanilla with vanilla buttercream, and black licorice guitar strings.
